Some want a lot of fun, adventure, change for little money. Others promise a lot and offer only a little of the catalog’s dream world: the blue of the sky, the empty endless beach – dream visions of a nightmare holiday.
The film shows what happens when tourists get a bad break: in the Dominican Republic people from Freiburg live in a hotel room, that gets wet from the ceiling when the neighbour takes a shower. Also a desperate tour guide in struggle with nerved tourists and a hotel tester who discovers bloodied bed sheets in a turkish five-star-hotel.
