It is one of the greatest medical scandals of recent German history, the so-called „hemophiliac AIDS scandal“. More than 1.500 hemophiliacs infected themselves with HIV in the 1980s because they were treated with contaminated blood products. Around 400 of these people still live today. They belong to the long-term survivors and have to fight every day for survival – and for justice.
